Newcomer / Intro Stations that are not there query

Hey,

Just been looking for a 'refinery' near where I'm currently based and I set my map to show me something fairly large and much to my delight a star popped up not far from me.

So, I check it out on one of the 'map tools' out there and yup... there is a refinery there. So I set my navigation and head over. Now that I'm here there is nothing but a star.

Am I missing something? The ingame map showed a Refinery industry, a map tool confirmed it, but nothing..........

If you've seen a station in the galaxy map(system view) you should also be able to lock on to it via the left hand side panel in you cockpit.... I've never incounted a station to disappear if I saw via "the tools" in the galaxy map....
