Stations Vanish When I Get There?

Hello ...

I bought my brand new Hauler and travelled to a series of four stations/outposts. As I arrive within 3 km of my destination, it vanishes from my contact list and I can't request docking permission. I can see it, but I can't communicate with it. The first time I went to a new station, I could dock just fine. But after that first docking, the normal approach and dock procedure is messed up. This has happened at each of the next three stations. Not sure if I don't understand something about my new ship, but stations shouldn't disappear from your contact list like that.

Is this something to be reported as a bug, or do I need to learn something?

Thanks for your assistance.

Are your sensors working? Check the modules tab.

Thanks, Salad .... That was the issue. For some reason, only the sensor module was off. No idea how that happened. Thanks for taking the time to help me out. Appreciate the tip.

You're welcome ;)

I made a similar mistake when I first bought an Eagle, purchased another hardpoint without looking at anything else, went to try it out on a RES field and soon as I pulled the hardpoints out the ship's Power died, everything was offline and I was on Life Support.

Then I learned about power management ^^

So, instead of trying to help the OP, you decided to snipe at the game instead, and it wasn't even a bug at all. You must be so proud of yourself.

Proof that some Forum Users don't even own the game and are here just to cause drama.

This is why I think we need a forum login tied to our CMDR's name.

I own the game, I have played it (not much, there's not much to it). Given the litany of issues that currently exist, assuming that abnormal behaviour might be the result of a bug rather than player oversight is indicative of nothing other than "30000 times bitten, 30001 times shy"...

Doesn't matter. What I said stands. The game is not currently fit for purpose. If something screwy happens, it's more likely to be a fault of the game than the player at this point, either because the game is busted, or because the game is deficient in terms of tutorials, tooltips, and any other usability improvements that came after mock UIs in 1970s/80s sci-fi.

Ah, just got your username. You were also moaning in the other thread. Not playing the game, just moaning on the forums how bad the game is.

Why are you even here? Do you not have a life?
