stations without rotation correction assistance

In Elite:Legacy rotation correction is described as an upgrade to a space station, not a feature of our craft. How awesome would it be if their were ports, like in the book, that did not have rotation correction?

I feel this would be an excellent addition to making stations feel different from one another. Maybe just the poorest stations or the older stations that are not serviced as much (like anarchy ones) could have no rotation correction.

Obviously this adds a layer of difficulty but as long as there was a warning in the system map and in your docking request response then it should be no problem to avoid it.

I agree. Old stations, derelict stations etc. The rage is gonna be big though...most players don't even know that there is a rotation correction option in their ships FBW system...

Definitely add to anarchy systems. More danger/difficulty in any way to spice those up is welcome by me.

If upon requesting docking they get a big warning message that rotational assist is not available, then anyone going in at that point has their own self to blame. It's not actually that dangerous until the actual landing, as you can float around the center without harm and figure out if it's something you want to try.

And it would be a great way to show more differences between the well to do stations and the run down ones.
