Newcomer / Intro Status Not Updating

I am trying to ally with a faction. I have messages from them saying I was cordial, then friendly then allied. But the status bar in missions is only showing friendly and not allied? I have relogged once and it changed from cordial to friendly. what can I do next?
edit: the second relog did nothing.

I got my permit anyway. But still only showing friendly? I want better missions so need the allied status.
