STEAL THAT SHIP

If I were a pirate I would want to STEAL THAT SHIP. So when is this getting added to the game? e.g. taunt it, target their FSD, then blast shields away then ask them to give it up (add a feature of escape capsule for them too before the need to blast its hull).

I completely forgot about this until your post - was a wonderfully fun feature of X as I remember, would be wonderful if it could be integrated into Elite.

I believe it's in the big bucket of things FD want to get to, but that it won't be until at least the next (paid) expansion.

I thought I remembered that as part of walking around on ships expansion, we'd also be able to walk around on others' ships (like friend's ships), and even be able to steal them.

They've mentions this in the past, along with FPS and Zero-G FPS. Would also be cool if you could remove the gravity on your ship so that when the invaders do enter they wouldn't know where you hiding. With the Zero-G you could be anywhere and it could confuse them if they weren't familiar with you ships interior!

Imagine taking over a ship worth millions... letting the pilot escape in the pod... then towing it for scrap... wow....
