Steam achievements and Game culture

For anyone familiar with Civilization games, you'd know these games have hundreds of achievements, and these achievements require different playthroughs with different settings.

This results in a lot of variation in playthroughs and people starting new scenarios with a set goal in mind.

PZ goes for a very laid back status with its achievements, and in my opinion they could have better uses. I think the achievements should challenge to make specific combinations and game decisions, which would encourage people to try new playthroughs. Examples:

1. High Himalayas - make a Taiga zoo in Asia with a Snow leopard, FBB and HBB
2. Diggin the Namib - make a desert zoo in Africa with Meerkat, Gemsbok and Springbok
3. Down for maintenance - turn a yearly profit in a franchise zoo while having no mechsnics in the zoo
4. Endangerers - make a zoo with only endangered animals

They tried this a bit with community challenges, but I think steam achievements are much more accessible for casual players.

What do you think of this idea? What achievements in your opinion could be added?

The Crocodile Hunter - have a zoo with every crocodilian species with a welfare of at least 90%

Bamboozled - have 3 generations of both giant pandas and red pandas living in your zoo (basically, have the parents, the sons, the grandsons)

I Wanna Be Like You - have every single primate in a zoo, with a male orangutan at 90% welfare

The Animal Kingdom - have every single species in a single zoo

The sun and moon - house the Formasan Blck Bear and Sun Bear in the same franchise zoo

Hakuna Matata - house warthogs and Meerkats in the same enclosure with at least 85% of welfare met

Bear necessities- have any bear species at 100% welfare

Tiger King - sell a white tiger on the market immediately after maturation

Move it Move it - house Ring Tailed Lemurs, King Penguins, Chimpanzees, Lions, Hippos, Giraffes, and Zebras in one franchise zoo

Can you feel the love tonight? - have two lions that you’ve raised since they were born, mate in a franchise zoo (they can’t be related)

Happy Feet - house multiple species of penguins in one enclosure with a welfare of 80%

Zoo Tycoon - house a chimpanzee, a flamingo, a polar bear, and a panda in 1 zoo with 100% welfare (in reference to the Zoo Tycoon 2 original game cover art)

African Adventure - fill 1 enclosure with all compatible African Savannah animals (excluding white rhino since it doesn't enrich warthogs and vice versa) and have a safari go through it

Arachnophobia: Have every spider in your zoo

I like the way you think. i was going to suggest some more to do with exhbiit animals:

Arachnophobia: have every spider in your zoo. (as mentioned above)
Insect Infestation: have every insect in your zoo
Lizard people: have every lizard in your zoo (could include both exhibits and the monitors/komodo dragons
Slitherin - have every snake in your zoo
Exhibitionist - have every exhibit animal in one zoo.

Here are some that I had thought of.

Bringing Up Baby: House all big cats with 95% welfare in your zoo.
Care for a soda?: House Polar Bears in your zoo with 100% welfare.
Carnival of the Animals: Have every animal in your zoo.
Darwinism: House multiple species of tortoise in one enclosure with 90% welfare.
Exhibition of the Century: Have every exhibit animal in your zoo.
Jurassic World: Create a zoo that only contains living fossils.
Pink Elephants: Enable all cheat codes.
Survival of the Fittest: House all habitat animals in one single enclosure.
Two Worlds, One Family: House Western Lowland Gorillas, African Elephants and Jaguars in your zoo with 100% welfare.

Botanical Garden - connect 50 Vista Points with Plants

They won't bite - have a Walk through Enclosure with 3 different Species

Bornean Conservation - have Bornean Orangutans, Proboscis Monkeys, Saltwater Crocodiles, Binturongs and Sun Bears in the same Zoo

Edited my Bornean Conservation Achievement because I found out that the Sunda Clouded Leopard is a different Species and not just a Subspecies. All other Animals I've wrote should live on Borneo as far as I know

The fact that the amount of bornean and european animals in the game is the same hurts on a whoule other level
It's weird to me that Frontier is a European Company but we do still have almost no European Animals. Really hope we will get a Europe Pack relatively soon and hopefully it will be a Animal Pack even though I would like to at least see some Tree Stump Trash Cans and Log Benches because it fits so well in a European Wildpark

Not really... Borneo is much more biodiverse than europe
And since when has biodiversity something to Do how much we need animals in the game?
I dont care for little froggie With only a latin name Number 472
Also its still one island vs a whoule continent, and you can say the same about oceania so its even 2 continents outshined by one island.
Dont get me wrong i love having so much from borneo, but at the same time its just very telling about the state of the game

Borneo has much more biodiversity in megafauna than europe, not only in tiny animals. And more importantly, species from Borneo (or any other tropical species) are much more common in zoos.

I'd like a europe pack, but in all european zoos I've seen the european anials were mostly used as filler between more attractive exhibits. So I get the appeal but I don't understand the treaent of european species as some keystone animals every zoo needs, like the Meerkat, Jaguar or Kangaroo.
