I'd like a europe pack, but in all european zoos I've seen the european anials were mostly used as filler between more attractive exhibits. So I get the appeal but I don't understand the treaent of european species as some keystone animals every zoo needs, like the Meerkat, Jaguar or Kangaroo.

Makes sense. I've only ever been to larger zoos as a tourist, so my experience is biased towards big collections.

A lot of those 'filler' habitats are just as important to zoos as the big ones, though, and it's harder to create realistic zoos in the game without all the components. So while animals like the fallow deer or red fox might seem kind of "garden variety" for a zoo, they'd still be good to have.
