steam is asking me to "purchase" Horizons, again.

Um, i bought it ages ago thanks.
Normal Elite Dangerous works. Horizons won't lauch, says i gotta buy it. But it also tells me how many hours I've played LOL

It still shows my over 500 hours played but says i need to purchase it. This needs to be fixed ASAP!

Just to test try launch normal ed or launch launcher manually and see if you still have horizon as option to launch game.

I browse to the installed Steam apps folder and use a shortcut to the elite executable launcher and don't even bring Steam into it.

It's not what it appears. You don't have to re-buy Horizons, and in fact doing so would be a waste of money. Install the updates Steam requires and then open Elite Dangerous (not Horizons). Look and you'll see three radio buttons. One of them lets you play Horizons like normal. That's how we're meant to access the game now.

Oh i get it.
Ok so horizons is dlc now.
Launch ED and it gives me a choice of ED or ED Horizons.
How can i remove the Horizons icon from my library? I know it doesn't really matter but OCD LOL
