Steam locomotive train - is it for transportation only or will it work for viewing animals too?

Hello!

I am playing a large park, and I want to plan out a nice train layout. but I want to ask you, will people be able to watch and enjoy animals, and go through habitats with the steam train, or is it strictly for transportion?

I guess I could test to try if is possible to go through habitats, but maybe you can answer before I mess up my pretty park. Ha!

The guests use the transport rides for both options, depending on the respective group of guests.

Once you've built such a ride, you can see the way it's being used by clicking on the guests who are queueing for the ride. I posted two screenshots of the 4x4 AT in the thread here, but the same applies to the steam train.

The train is the one thing I havent built yet, is it a single train or can you have multiple on one track?
