Steam Minimum Requirements

I'm lucky enough to have a PC, that barely plays Odyssey.... I'm basically wondering:

With a whole lot of commanders being forced to buy a PC to play future content, when is the minimum requirements on Steam going to be updated to more accurately show what will play the game ABOVE 5-10fps

An i5, 8gb ram and a GTX 780 would NEVER play this game stable.

don't think a 433-qubit osprey could even make it entirely stable🤷‍♂️ (pc data over a network is prone to fail from
time to time for one reason or another interference still interferes)
(c3po mode) having experienced the gtx3090 in action
my min spec rec for odd is gtx970 which I am currently testing and ill be testing the new lovelace architecture as soon as its avail
hopefully and for perspective a gtx980 struggles badly if set to ultra on a 1920x1080 disp
soz I am not going to test below that spec as I deem it just unacceptable having played it too the max

Things change. Your i5/GTX780 combo was pretty dam good in its day, but... You can't really expect games to get prettier and fancier but still run on a steampowered CPU/GPU. That said, my i7-4790/GTX 1660 Super combo still works adequately for EDO. Stability of the game is a separate question.
PS: Perhaps you should be asking your question on Steam forums.

I've tried a few times since the Pre-Alpha, that minimum requirements would never have even been able to play the alpha.

Frontier have known that the entire time and still say an i5 and GTX780 would run EDO.

I've got an i7 with 16gb ram and a GTX 780.... So I should be able to play it, ground combat is impossible. Fps of maybe 1-3 fps in battle.

Only being able to run the main menu doest mean you'll be playing the game 🤷‍♂️

What spec is it that lap top that runs it at 720p upscaled to 1080p ar 30 Frames per second... with many options disabled not just set to low...
Consoles dont have mouse or Keyboard use ether... So they need to be disabled when you play for real console emulation (y)
