If you open the store via the launcher while using Steam, you can purchase stuff with Steam Wallet, so technically they are.

Yeah Steam processed their end 90 minutes ago for me but Frontier apparently uses monkeys with blunt pencils to process their end. No use ticketing as they have an incompetence notice posted on the ticket page.

I just purchased nameplates too, still waiting for them to show up.
I guess everyone is buying nameplates at the same time and frontier are having to mix them all up in a big cauldron.
