Steam release

Considering that the game is probably less than three or four months away, wouldn't it be a good idea to get it on Steam as a "coming soon", somehow?

I did a search - as far as Steam is concerned, this game doesn't exist.

I have been looking for it on Steam as well about 1-3 times a week. I have $82 in my Steam account. If I could find it I would probably pre-order it. That should cover the game ($60) and any launch day DLC I may need to get the full JWE experience, till more DLC is released. :)

Yes, I really think Fdev shouldn't underestimate the promo.

Personally I think preordering digital download games is stupid. Cause preordering is from a time when games were only on physical mediums and stores would run out. Though I never experienced this myself I know some have. I would still preorder this game though just to do it. Cause I am going to be up all night waiting for it to go on sale, if I can't preorder.

Agreed, it's kind of stupid with digital downloads. From customer's perspective, at least. It has value for the developer, of course. Firstly because it's an income and secondly it can be indicative of the market's interest in your product.
But preordering it isn't the point, here. I just thought it would be good to have it there as kind of a "Hey, this game is a thing. It will release soon" sign for people. I am putting games on my wishlist just so I don't forget about them before they release. :D

hihi, I check steam as well at least once a week ...
Actually I pre-ordered already some games, only once it was a failure. But for me it's o.k., and steam gives refunds if you haven't played more then 2 hours I think, no?!

Kinda agree, but if the Digital PreOrder comes with the possibility to preload the game, then i am pretty cool with it. That way i can preorder a week before, and when the game realise I can just plopp my butt infront of the pc, download the last few MB to get the game ready, and play.

So kinda look at preorders with preloading as a "Skip in line ticket", but if its just preorder and i gotha wait for the day to download, i usaly just buy it some time after realise when i remember the game came out.

If it goes up on Steam for preorder and has a auto download and install option I will doing that so I can also just start playing the game as soon as it hits.

Can we beat the popular YouTube personalities to uploading the first video on YouTube? lol
