Steam train requires more than one station

Is there any way around this? It will let me test the ride, but not open it to guests without a second station. You could have 1 station on the trains in PC1. But the mini train is the opposite, it only allows one station.

It's meant to be a transport ride, only (same like the steam boat). Unfortunately, they haven't changed it so far...

Kinda workaround:
Peeps are able to do a complete circle...
You can close the second station. The train will do a quick stop an go on to the first station.
BUT peeps wont queue any longer.

Only other thing I can think of is to build the second station next to the first one if you don't want riders getting off somewhere else on the train route.
