steam workshop

Consoles never have Steam workshop but Steam workshop would be a must-have for PC.

Unfortunately many wrong decisions were made for this game like not including steam workshop for PC players and its noticeable in the numbers of players/sales.

I hope Frontier will see the light, but i'm no longer optimistic about this game.

Lots of people are demanding cross-play in more and more games. Cross-play games need a central workshop and steam is only for PC players. The only way for everyone to access the same stuff is to have their own in-game workshop. Can't have one without the other.

You could always add both

It would be a win-win

All best content creators are on PC and i'm sure if they are proud of what they made they would choose to upload to both Steam Workshop as well as Frontier Workshop

i dont see a win-win here, having two workshops is like having two browser, of course i have chrome and mozilla installed, but i am only using one of those, so you try to divide things frontier at least tried to mend. The revision of the workshop (frontier) is on the roadmap, so maybe let's wait and see what will happen.

The problem is that the people who play the game on the PC have no way to access the console workshop and like it was mentioned earlier the vast majority of content creators use the PC, so basically PC users are being penalized! I for one will no longer support Frontier games until this is corrected!

Is this so? where are you getting the idea? Is this another pc masterrace plan or do you have stats to back this up?

Just an example: Corvus, in my opinion one of the best coaster builder in pc1 started on console, yes he switched to pc later for diffrent reasons. It is simple console hate and hubris, that motivates that thought. Why would I cut off my own supply with blueprints or at least shrink it down, simply because? This doesn't make sense too me: i for example have 8 blueprints, 2 of them are ps5. that's 25%.

So why yelling for a steam workshop instead asking and feedbacking frontier to improve their own workshop, this is the thing.

Im 100% sure 99% of people who create something on PC would choose to upload it to both Steam Workshop and Frontier Workshop.

There is no reason not to have both.

It's a win-win.

PC gamers will love Planet Coaster 2 again

1. Workshop content goes up on both Steam Workshop and Frontier workshop
2. Player numbers go up
3. Game sales go up
4. (future) DLC sales go up
5. PC players like the game again and upload to both workshops
6. Console players now also enjoy great workshop creations because PC players finally wanna bother creating content again knowing they also have Steam workshop
7. Console sales go up
8. Consoles DLC sales go up

But no, we just have to stick with Frontier workshop because reasons?!?!?!?!

+ 1
I would upload my blueprints for console players. But overall, I don't want to use it. I want Steam Workshop so I can browse, download, update BP's etc, at my leisure inside OR outside the game.

PC2's handling of blueprints is such a step back and I hope we don't see this happen to Planet Zoo.
