SteamDB has Planet Coaster Alpha - No Website [LINK]

Why does it say that "This game is excluded from Steam's Family Sharing service."?

Is it a pre-release thing, or have Frontier opted to not have visible stats for the game? Elite Dangerous has them.

It's most likely the first thing. The steam integration isn't finished and we also don't have alpha 3.

Steam's Family Sharing isn't about making stats visible--it's the program where one user who owns a game can authorize family members with another Steam account to access that game without having to buy his/her own copy.

Okay! So I am going to analyze the SteamDB page to maybe get some info. So, on the history page:

Name: Planet Coaster Alpha
Type: Game
Section Type: Owners Only
OS: Windows
OSArch: 64
State: Pre-Release
Community Hub Visibility: 1 (True)
exfgls (Exclude from family sharing): 1(True)

So thats all the info we have so far. Yay.

I wonder why they excluded this from family sharing.

The only possibly relevant thing I found is from here.

Can all Steam games be shared with friends and family?
No, due to technical limitations, some Steam games may be unavailable for sharing. For example, titles that require an additional third-party key, account, or subscription in order to play cannot be shared between accounts.

Once on Steam, PC will not require a third party account or subscription. The third party key is only for activation and is not bound to a separate form of DRM.
This only applies to games that require an extra program like Origin, Uplay ect.

I think the restriction is only for Alpha/beta and maybe removed for full release.

SteamDB is exactly what the name suggests, a third-party website that shows the data base of Steam. If you need help with Steam, feel free to message me, I I'll help you through it!
