Horizons Steering

So the Wings update allow greater (meaningful in-game mechanical) cooperation between players.
Engineers provide the ability to synthesise on the go and less reliance on Bubble stations
UA garnered interest in exploration and with the deterioration of station service as result, further diminish reliance on stations
UA also, through meta alloys hint at greater regenerative capabilities for ships in flight.
Passenger cabins and missions - there are hardly any typical taxi runs compared to how you'd expect this to clearly be the most frequent (unless everybody is assumed to have spacecraft?) simply form one system to a nearby one, many involve touring distant sectors of tens of thousands of light years distance.
Whilst it's possible to eke out a living within the bubble, it is possibly becoming less and less flavour of the month for FD - only the zombie that is PP continues to be of relevance to Bubble dwellers.
Neutron FSD boosts clearly expanded the potential for ease of further exploration and speed of reaching exciting new regions.
Overall, there's been an increased focus on Colonia, Exploration and all things beyond the bubble, from "alien ruins"*

So clearly, now that the Bubble is well and truly established and players have supported various endeavours within the economics, millitary, politics and such - FINALLY (albeit gradually over some months) FD seem to be steering towards a focus on exploration and the fact that they have a 400 billion or whatever system galaxy and most players will never even consider leaving a fraction of it.

It would seem to me, that although there's a sincere and definite interest in exploration and people have made great leaps (pun fully intended) in regards to discovery and journeying to the furthest reaches - for FD as a whole, they need to (and clearly have) open the door a little wider and even shove a few people through it, since what's the point of having so many star systems and so much virtual cyberspace and hardly anyone even notices its existence? It's wasteful and something of a shame. **

That's why I firmly believe FD are steering those players willing to give it a try, into picking up the exploratory ship and modules and urging them to leave the Bubble if only because a mission, boredom of anything else or enticement of credits says so...

*I use the term "Alien" as it is unknown and extra-terrestrial, not that it is actually non-human in origin. I use the term "ruins" since that's how they've always been reported, despite the obvious fact that they possess some operational functionality. I suspect their nature of being apparently abandoned or of some venerable age has lead to an overall generalised assumption they are "ruined"

** I fully appreciate the procedural generation and mechanics of instancing player content means that they don't actually have a load of "star system space" sitting there unused, more that the potentials they worked for providing are not being taken advantage of to a degree that they perhaps might have expected.

Why is it not possible for players to procure a taxi/cruise tour from either another player or an NPC? :p
