I stumbled across this previously undiscovered star pair (not within the same system) that's only 0.16 Ly apart, and not even in a specially dense area of the galaxy. They are so close that their spheres on the galaxy map heavily overlap each other.
I know that you can't travel from one star system to another via supercruise, but just out of curiosity I did it anyway. Unsurprisingly there was nothing there, but I got to the position of the other star anyway...
While these planetary arrangements might not be extraordinarily unusual nor strange, I nevertheless found the a bit peculiar:
