Stereoscopic 3D issues

Firstly, I'd like to say a huge thank you for continuing to offer native 3D support. I know it's a niche audience so the efforts are hugely appreciated.
However, as it stands at the moment, the game is borderline unplayable in 3D which is pretty tragic.

I thought I'd provide a few key issues and possible solutions:
  • Problem: 99% of the text in the game is completely illegible due to it being too small to survive the squashing and stretching process of SBS 3D.
    • Solution pt1: Add the ability to change the font size in game.
    • Solution pt2: Add an option for Over/Under 3D which in my experience goes easier on text, especially on passive displays (please do this anyway! Would love Over/Under support)
    • Solution pt3: Have the option to always display OSD text at screen level regardless of convergance/separation settings.
  • Problem: Very time consuming to adjust Separation and Convergence Have to click apply each time to test, then go back into the settings if it's not right.
    • Solution: Give real-time feedback to the player as the sliders are being adjusted.
  • Problem: 3D depth is messed up when on foot. Hands appear as cardboard cutouts against the screen, environment does not feel to scale with player.
    • Solution: Offer separate separation and convergence options for on-foot mode. Maybe even have separate 3D options for the character vs the environment.
  • Problem: Interface elements appears at screen level in the Galaxy map (and possibly System map as well, can't remember).
    • Solution: Make appropriate elements and markers match the 3D depth of the object they are describing.
There are probably more, but these are the main ones that come to mind that prevent me being able to play in 3D. Especially the first issue, not being able to read any text is a gameibreaker. I know you probably have bigger fish to fry right now, but if you are going to keep 3D as an option it really needs to be playable.

Thanks for your time Devs!
