Still can't see ships after following friend's FSD wake... :\

Just as the title says, if I (or he) interdict or get interdicted by an NPC, the person who drops in through the FSD wake cannot see the NPC, at all.

It's been like that since release and we have not figured out any workaround yet. I've also ticketed it (in the old system and the new) and my hopes of it being looked at with 1.1 were dashed tonight when we tried it.

So, my question to all of you - anyone had this problem or knows of a way around it? It would also be great to hear some *cough* official acknowledgement of the problem.

Which low-energy wake are you targeting? I seem to recall you need to target the interdictor's wake, not the wake of the person being interdicted.

Of course, it's sometimes tricky to establish which wake belongs to whom, especially in systems with high activity.

There is actually only one wake left after an interdiction event...uhm, I'm like 99,9% sure on that. Okay, let's call it 97,4%. ;)

I had exactly that last night. Was surreal watching him fight a ghost! :)

Hey, good to hear we're not alone in this, still, sorry you're afflicted by this as well.

I would love to hear if more people have this issue, might help bring it to light (and hopefully get it fixed)!

Jeebus. This bug has been around since the first Alpha (the invisible ghost ships bit, not the following wakes bit). Unless someone has a revelation, doubt it will be fixed anytime soon. :(

I'm under the impression this annoying - and consistent since Gamma - bug will be resolved with the 1.2 Wings update

I have a nagging feeling this is actually the case... leaving fixing this until an update that tackles group-play specifically comes around. :\

I've played since Beta 2 actually, but only started co-oping with some friends after release and realised there's a slew of issues with that. Here's hoping they'll sort it out, sooner, rather than later; since really, Elite, just like a lot of games out there, only gets better when played alongside your friends.

PS: Meh, I'm starting to sound negative so, to counter-balance, here's something positive! 1.1 fixed the "players and NPCs in multiplay appear as Harmless" issue for me! Plus love the sound changes (reverb inside the station with 'Boost' sound option on is just... spine-tingling) and graphical updates are also damn tasty. Looking forward to more!
