Still looking forward to this game

Despite the few negative reviews (IGN) I am looking forward to the game. Most of the negatives were stuff that were already in the game. As well as it is not been fully released yet and we have no idea what they have patched and fixed. As long as I am able to build a park, but dinosaurs in it and watch them walk around doing dinosaur things I am happy. My only issue is that there is some clipping with the Cerat and the fence as well as I think a Trike went through another one, but I have never played a game yet that doesn't have clipping issues. As for the AI I still have no idea what people expected. It is not going to be perfect, Frontier knows it and have acknowledged it pretty much daily that it is being worked on.

That it is better than JPOG and apparently it will be roughly the same level. But other than that I agree with you. Still preordered, still hyped to play it. Just acknowledged that this game won't be as good as most of us (including people like BIS) expected.

I'm still hyped, the only thing that's annoyed me is having to wait until steam unlock it tomorrow afternoon, I want to play at midnight

But the AI does look better(expect the lack of sleep, which means nothing to me). I have watched so many videos though I don't just take one persons view on it since I know one complaint is that DInosaurs don;t react o others being killed, yet in a lot of the newer once you can clearly see them run away.

Certainly still looking forward to the game. They made some strange decision though - I remember an early dev diary where they talked at length about how much effort went into getting the dinosaur feet to 'sit' on the ground realistically - followed by a video clip of a foot going 'through' a gate! And now the release (at least on PC) happening so long after the reviews - seems a bizarre thing to allow.

But at least I don't see lots of reports of showstopper bugs or crashes, so better than some AAA titles.

Defenitely looking forward :) 02h48m!! I am really glad now that the jeeps are indestructable after seeing what happened in the live reveal last night. Nick Rodger went from 600.00 to being 1milion in the red in a very quick pace haha. If his Jeep would have been killed as well it would have been even more hopeless.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion; some people don't like it, other people do. I don't really care either way. I'm going to play it tomorrow, or maybe Wednesday since I'm going to see JP: Fallen Kingdom tomorrow night and see for myself if it's any good.

The dinosaurs need 40,000 different animations for each Dinosaur.

People keep talking about BEstInSlots review and they just ignore the fact that he played the game for 30+ hours. This is not something you do with a bad game. You play it while watching the clock and you make sure you don't go over the 2 hour mark. Then you get a refund.

i will still enjoy it have delux preorderd on pc and xbox one only thing i dont like is the size of giganotosaurus they made it half the size of the trex instead of just a little bigger or same size no matter hopefully it will be fixed in a patch but i will still love the game.

Exactly and to be honest I think BIS had some dreams about the game that were a bit unrealistic.

I kind of agree as well. Though the issues people have been raising since March are not, but people expecting this to be like some kind of realistic Dinosaur simulator are unrealistic.

i actually want this game to be a somewhat realistic dinosaur simulator combined with the theme park management genre.
So I disagree with your view. Because this game is about dinosaurs and we expected for Frontier to add mostly realistic dinosaur
behaviors that includes sleeping and etc.

Is that the same IGN that gave Planet Coaster a 8.5 score ?

Yip, the same ones who gave goat simulator an 8.

EDIT: It's common knowledge that IGN, along with a few other sites, alter review scores and editorial pieces, based on who is paying the bills.
