Been playing ED since 2014, but this is the longest time without CG's.
Frontier may say you have these Titan things.
Titans are basically Tharoids, which to me means time to die/get blown up, I do not want that:). Who does?
In 1984 Elite Tharoids meant you died.

Not quite - the longest single gap with no CGs at all was between December 2019 and September 2020.
There's not been many this year - just eight weeks with CGs, 12 CGs total - but it's still well ahead of that.

Given what we're seeing in the Powerplay previews, though, I wouldn't be hopeful of a higher pace of CGs after that either.

Since about spring, we've been getting about 1 CG per month. The thargoid assault on Shindez was a month ago, so we're due one soon. Might have even happened this week if not for the timing of Raijin being vulnerable and a good chunk of the player base focusing efforts there. And if you think about it, taking out a titan is effectively a community goal, with decent CR rewards and a paintjob/ship kit up for grabs.

Story aspect aside, PP gives you all the CGs you could ever want. Week after week. Trade, bounty hunting, mining, exploration data - it's all there. There are even competitive "CGs".
