Still seeing issues + Windows Audio Service is dying.

Still seeing bugs in missions where NPCs will either refuse to hand over mission items or are unable to be talked to at all.
Massive lag involving 1st person modes. Ship -> 1st person, SRV -> 1st person, 1st person -> SRV, 1st person -> Ship. Getting into your SRV in combat is pointless, the SRV is destroyed before you ever get control.

Still getting lag when people jump into the instance.

I've had to restart the Windows Audio Service twice in this last session to get audio back. The person I was playing with had to do it once. I've never had this happen before this update. This happened at the high CPU load moments.

Minor irritation: A guard decided to want to scan me after I had jumped away. I stopped mid air and returned but the guard decided I was resisting before I hit the ground and turned hostile. Just ... there has to be some chance for compliance or why not just drop the pretense and have them start shooting you while yelling "Stop resisting!"?

I think all you've described is pretty standard happenings for Odyssey U9. I get the sound stuttering a lot of the time, only since update 9. I haven't lost sound altogether though (yet).

Yeah most of the issues I recognise as well, however I have never had to restart windows audio service, so I'm not sure that can be attributed to the game.

I've read that it restarts on plugging in USB devices, so this could potentially be something usb related? Are you using an external usb audio interface by any chance?

I only have issues with my sound disappearing after connecting my gamepad via usb cable, since windows thinks I would like to use that as my audio device, rather than my proper audio interface (this is also when not using ED)

Yes, Windows 10 seems very obnoxious when it comes to audio devices and tends to override the default output device from time to time (also, with the new menus for the sound control you can't even see which is default anymore). Connect your peripherals and open up the sound control panel (Windows Key + R, mmsys.cpl), then right click your speakers and set them as the default output device. With a bit of luck it won't switch to your gamepad next time you reconnect it.
