Stock exchange? is it a planned feature?

I think elite dangerous would be the perfect game out there for a stock exchange.
This is how I would think it could work ;

-You can put stock on ship manufacturers and the price and stock change based on what ships players are buying.

-You can put stock on factions , both major and small (maybe limit it to corporations? and other businesses?) and there value goes up and down based on in universe background simulation !

-and then maybe on local stations to see them grow and shrink based on the economy...

and many other things , this is a thing I realy think would make elite dangerous a better game... maybe make it a thing for the walking around station DLC as one of the ways to make some creds on stations

I think one of the X Universe games had a stock exchange (it might have been Albion Prelude) where players could buy and sell shares and make a killing.

Here, it might cross the line from piloting game to deskjob sim (in the same sense that player-controlled fleets and player-owned stations certainly did in the X games) that many players here are not going to like. Personally, it may well add a new dimension to proceedings, especialy if various CMDRs and Powers have financial interests in their coal-face, shop-floor actions. We shall see.

It was X3 albion prelude that had the stock exchange... sadly it was not dynamic but random...or even pre programmed to repeat the same things over and over...

No stock exchange... I do that every day in real life..... I got sucked into it in GTA5 too..... Darn you...... stock exchanges......

well except that I will retire at 41 :)

Well I love stock exchange put am to much of a whimp to try the real life one , and sins elite has a universe were it would work I just imagined it would be fun... I love them , spent too much time in GTAV stock market but was a bit poor and AP was a bit meh , sadly...
