Stock/price of products allways the same

Hi,

If I buy a product in the system Styx (Boyle Terminal), flying to Aulin (Aulin Enterprise), sell my cargo and fly back to Styx, the stock is the same as before.
i.e.: Stock of Uran in Styx is about 10.000t. I buy 100t. Fly to Aulin and back to Styx. The stock is 10.000t again - always. Even the buy/sell price does not change.
I would expect that if I buy 100t of a good that costs me about 2000cr/t the price changes a little bit, because I have bought 1% of the stock - but nothing!

Has someone seen this too? I Think I should ticket that ;)

Markets are NOT updated once a day (states and influence do). It all depends on the station capacity (population, production etc), I have been trading all the evening and actually price went down, but is a small system and an outpost and that good overall demand (#) was low.

If demand and supply are an number above ~60k and labled high you alone cannot break the price atm or you have to trade a lot!

I have seen my profits drop on runs, though. I was running back and forth between a couple systems, Superconductors to one, silver back. Profits steadily dropped a couple credits each time. (I spent all day grinding thorugh about 150K credits doing it.) Now, I don't recall offhand if the prices changed. But, my profits definitely did, so....prices had to have changed. Just a couple credits per ton, hardly noticeable.

What type of economy is Styx maybe they produce the stuff?
If a station produces that commodity they should nearly always have a self replenishing supply as long as they are receiving the required resources to manufacture

Yup, thats what i have encountered so far too. It depends on the Population etc. I would assume it also depends on how many players Trade the same resources on one station, and how many stations near a system need the stuff

That was before the Xmas patch that fixed the price and inventory 'sploit (really just a broken market item) for Imperial Slaves. Overall my understanding is that the NPC traders come in behind the players and pretty keep the marked stable and same. Just think these NPC traders are "playing" 24/7 non-stop running the routes that show the slighted alteration in price and product to keep the market stale really..

I suspect players could make a change in price/inventory if people were to kill every NPC trader ship in a system as they came and went.

I have now played for some days only between Styx and Aulin and the stock has not changed even if I buy and sell only the same product. I cant believe that this is how it should work. I will ticket that now
