Stop constantly spawning NPCs in unpopulated unexplored systems

Seriously it makes no sense. If it's not too far out I can see it being a rare occurrence, but 100 light years from the nearest populated system I should not be seeing an NPC in nearly every system and I definitely shouldn't be getting interdicted by pirates.

I hear the boundary is 500ly when they stop appearing.

Yes I'm aware. My point is that they shouldn't be spawning even 100 ly away. I mean why would pirates hang out in unpopulated systems that aren't on any kind of trade route? It makes absolutely no sense.

Then of course you will hear people say that the game is empty, we as players have to accept some of the game mechanics, or do you want the Dev team to be constantly creating "Stuff" then removing "It" because space is vast... Lets be clear even if your exploring and in a distant part of the universe, you should still be be prepared to encounter things hostile or not...

IDK, 100ly is only a few jumps with a decent ship. This is still reasonably close to inhabited space and would be a good area for prospectors searching for mineral/metal rich deposits. Also, there's be less security out there. Seems to me like there should be pirates.

It takes 5 minutes to get 100ly away.... Im surprised there are not more out there.

Maybe they are just getting away from the wife and kids for an afternoon...

Let's think about this for a second. There are plenty of unpopulated anarchistic systems spread throughout the populated "bubble". These systems are essentially along trade routes and are prime pirating territory. 100 LY from any populated system on the other hand is not on any trade route, and would logically be devoid of any targets for pirates (and no explorers are not good targets for pirates seeing as they have no cargo). And the thing is that it's not about it never ever happening per se, it's that a pirates are not generally going to sit in a system with no traffic hoping for a juicy target eventually. As I was exploring this area of space literally every system had ships in it. That simply does not make sense.

Again why would pirates go to low to zero traffic systems and just wait for non-traders? You see the issue with this? Traders don't go out there so why would pirates?

The game is empty, and silliness like this does not fill it, at least not in the way it needs to be filled.

To me it seems logical to go away ~100ly away from populated systems if I am a pirate or other form of outlaw. Think of it this way: I want to make deals with other oulaws somewhere far out of reach where cops don't follow. Also, there should be some hidden stations like:

but only outlaws could know about them and have access to them (this includes outlaw players).

I think it should be this "100 ly dangerous belt of criminals" around "colonized bubble" to make things more interesting and believable.

Sure that kind of makes sense, but that isn't what I'm talking about. Besides there are anarchistic systems and stations al over the place.

I cant be playing the same game as you cus I can travel for hours and not see a single npc when exploring, I feel that there should be a chance no matter where you are that pirates locked onto your FSD wake and
followed you trying to find something worth hunting, in short lets make the game more Dangerous, its noting like as dangerous as elite was, or as dangerous as it was in beta.

Have you thought this post through at all? I mean logically? So let's say you are an explorer heading out into deep space. What motivation would a pirate have to follow you into no man's land rather than attacking a trader on a known trade route instead? None. Absolutely none. I agree that Elite should be more dangerous, especially out in the dark reaches of unknown space, but random pirates should not be the way to make that happen. It's just dumb, and worse than dumb, it's lazy game design.

they're out there to get YOU ;)

Yeah I know. I'm the chosen one, and the entire galaxy revolves around me. ED makes that pretty clear actually.
