Stop crying about Open, jeezus.

Seriously, no one cares if some tool in a Vulture blew you up without warning. Its a dangerous universe, if you aren't prepared to defend, fight, or run away then you are best off sticking to solo and not flooding the forums with whine.

This is a great game, its a grown ups game, and all the little whining kids need to either man up and play with their mouths shut or just silently go away.

I'm sure I will be banned for posting this, see you in open, I will back to the forums in a month or so I'm sure.

I must admit that having been involved in many online forums for different games over the years, this one would have to be the most whiny and petty I have seen.

Not sure why other than this type of game brings out that type of person...

not happening mate, it's funnier to DEMAND nerf and cry out loud; even I saw posts whining about they got rammed by another player because they've wanted to enter on the wrong side of the station

I bought my first Adder, filled my cargo hold and proudly began my maiden voyage in her...only to be interdicted and exploded. It sucked lol. First new ship...also, first time dying. Didn't whine though. It's not that hard to choke back the tears, guys.

Stop crying about people crying about open. You talk about the degree of whinging going on, but you're just adding to it. I'd ask what you hoped to achieve by venting like htat but you probably didn't exercise what little grey matter you have before you did it. If people want to complain, who cares? Just don't engage with them!!

What, exactly, brought this on? :)

It is the internet, tears are not mean't to be "choked back"....

I don't see much whining about that, to be honest. People know it's a game.

I have commented on the fact that those who camp the starter systems and blast noobs for the lulz are probably the same ones that fill their knickers and pull their cables out in a rage when they get lit up by someone who isn't flying the equivalent of a paper plane. They're probably all gloryhunting sports fans, the type of "human" that would go to a casino to cheer on the house. But maybe they're all nice people in real life, and they don't all have a long list of childhood pets that all died suddenly and mysteriously. Who knows?

Stop crying about people crying about people crying about open. Oh wait... :D

Whine-ception.

Although the OP does have a point. I got wafflestomped by an obviously experienced Commander (who I'd been chatting to previously) because I accidentally incurred a 200cr bounty for hitting a friendly ship. Did it annoy me? Yep. Not gonna lie, I was pretty mad. But that's the nature of any PvP game. People will be better than you or do incredibly stupid things.

Literally the only course of action is to suck it up and carry on (or in my Dead-is-dead case, restart, grr). Oh, and plot revenge.

Always plot revenge.

Valuable lesson for you to learn the importance of fire control......

(Have I done that right or do I need to use more CAPITALS???)

Hopefully soon people will be able to post bounties on other Commanders. That could be fun. Team up with a few other disgruntled people and put a high price on someones head.

I'm sure there are many problems with doing this but I bet it would still be a good laugh.
A way of creating a log/list of people who you want to target/avoid would be good. Maybe it could alert you if they are in the same system as you?

I remember having this when I used to play WoW. Someone once killed me when I was starting out, not so bad but then they spat on my corpse and ran off laughing. I put that person on the list. About a year later when I was top level the alert flashed up that they were nearby. I nailed them and danced on the corpse. I bet they always wondered why.

Revenge is sweet and best served cold.

Did you just insult me? I have enough grey matter to run a successful business, own a house and three cars, and not whine about dying in a video game. How about you, chump?
