Stop stupid station rushers

I hate it! I really hate it!

Happend 3 times today that some stupid guys boosting in or out stations kill me and my full load of cargo with more than 1,4 million credits each load!
Today i lost more than i could collect in 3 days of playing, because stupid people think, they are faster if they save 10 seconds and better risk their ships and loads for it.

There should be a limit for speeds in and arround station entrance and all people faster than this limit should get punished with a Fee of 10000 credits and up. 100 M/S is more than enough inside a station and not boosting out with 400 !! Everytime i land i am afraid of this idiots just crashing in the fences of the station and take other ships with them! I didnt hat shields for more cargo but i switched to some strong shields to avoid that brainless idiots!! Why does the gal in the station say everytime WATCH YOU SPEED but no one listens to her, because nobody gets punished for that!!

Please do something against it!!

Whilst I feel your pain, some pilots are in a hurry as they might not have receipts for all the cargo in their holds and would like to get in and unload before getting scanned and having to answer some awkward questions...(obviously not me.....)

Play solo, problem solved :) And FYI, solo or open, trades you perform still affect the universe. The two are shared, not instanced. The only diff is you don't have to put up with ppl in solo.

Use shields and be more attentive? or play solo/group mode to avoid other pilots? or get out of the newbie systems where there are less people trying to be griefers?

There's a lot of ways around this and you're in control of them all. :)

Haha too bad, try again? Play solo? Pay closer attention to the radar? Use different stations?

Idk what to say because its easily avoidable.

ah funny stuff, I love docking at max speed, makes life interesting, bouncing off a fully laden shieldless transport and watching it explode would just be a content overload.

Sacrificing some cargo for shields would of saved you so much more money and you would have profited in the long run. Or yeah play solo for these sorts of trade runs. make your money and switch back. Or double check to make sure its clear

I thought some idiot was repeatedly swooping by me on boost as I queued for a small orbital earlier so I placed myself really close to the station. It swooped in again and crashed into the station and died. It turned out to be an NPC federal security ship. I laughed.

This is true ^^

Btw. It's 'would have' ;)

So there's two lines of thought -
1) Why are you not boosting in/out of stations?
2) Give people time to learn that silent running is much easier than trying to beat the cops scan. In the interim, play solo, or quieter routes.

One of the many things that confirms that I made the right choice to stay in Solo play. Maybe one day when things have settled down a bit and the idiots have got bored and left I may try Open again but for now I would rather enjoy life in the 'Carebear' mode rather than in the 'Daycare' mode.

Agree with original poster. If this truly is a game mechanic of the stations (speed limits), then enforce them. If not, remove the voice reminder and don't.

Full power to SYS typically negates any issues that may occur at a station, short of being shot at by the station.

I never go within 5km of a station unless my shields are fully charged, the SYS capacitor is at max and full pips to SYS and the rest in ENG.

No.
If you can't afford to lose it don't undock with it.
Also, I'll drive how I want, get out of the way or have better shields than me.
