Levity has been a little lacking lately here in the forums.
So. Something to lift your spirits. Or cause you to throw stuff at the screen. Or just do a galactic facepalm.
Back story
5 years ago, as part of the radio show with Hutton - I put up a karaoke edition of the Galaxy Song on screen, and ad-libbed our own version of it into my mobile phone microphone as Cecil (who SOME people will know from the radio show). With plenty of references to Elite thrown in....
I think he'd been at the Centauri Mega Gin.
Anyway. After broadcasting it on the radio and putting it up on our media site.... I thought nothing more of it. Until this morning when someone sent me a link to a YouTube video.
It turns out that in January this year, CMDR TechyMrB decided to perform a piece of performance art as mo-cap... then put an avatar in. And upload it to GalTube.
and not tell anyone.
Having watched it this morning - he somehow, with the use of the original audio, a fluffy bunny and much arm waving, managed to capture the essence of what it's like to be a CMG soaked Hutton Trucker stuck at Colonia.
In all its glory...
Here we are
