Stopped playing elite dangerous!

Last night I finally gave in and stopped playing Elite Dangerous.

Apparently I need to go to some place and program computers or I won't get the money I need for my house and internet connection.

Also I kept hearing strange noises while playing like "Are you STILL playing that game?" and "Shouldn't you be going to bed?" and "I'm going to pull the main fuse if you don't stop playing."

But I think I'll be back again tonight.

Luckliy this place has an internet connection, but annoyingly there's no Linux client and I don't have a joystick, and my "boss" said something along the lines of "Over my dead body".

So now I'm working out where to hide it when the Linux client comes out.

I did ticket this and received a response from FD.

"We were unable to replicate but we have had this raised a few times, be believe you may have some conflicting software running in the back ground, as a temporary workaround you can try increasing the volume settings on your headphones"

What you are hearing is the background program "wife 1.0" going into nag mode. This can be offset by purchasing " nice jewelry 1.2, or Spa day 1.0". Be warned, "Wife 1.0 can sometimes go buggy, and not even " diamond 2.3" will fix the problem! ;)

I'm still running Fiancee 3.0 after I unistalled Wife 1.0 a few years back. Hopefully Wife 2.0 will work out better.

(And in reality those comments? Totally made up, she's happy with me doing my thing. :) )
