Store modules in ship cargo.

This is really uncomfortable when I want to refit my ship and I need to left modules on stations. Frontier should add option to store modules in cargo. This will allow to have my modules with me and refit at destination station.
What do you think about that?

You can only stores modules on space stations, not in your ships. And if you want them back, you have to be at the space stations you stored your modules at.

Because you can transport modules on your own, faster and cheaper. It is common in games that you can carry not used equipment to refit.

Why don't you just tranfer them to the next station? You don't have to go back, go out and do a small job for 7minutes while they're shipped to your current station.

I would like that for certain equipment, like scanners and some weapons etc. but for example storing an entire extra power plant in your hold would become a bit absurd I think.

Yes, mate, you can

And fit them to any compatible ship that's also stored at that station

I'm a bit lost, can you actually transfer modules between space station ? The same way as ships ?

When you go into Outfitting, down the bottom of the list where your 'stored modules' are listed, inside there your modules at other locations will have a number next to them to indicate the transfer cost and time

There are many situation when storing modules in cargo is better solution than transferring it. For example you send your module to Colonia but during your journey you changed your plans and you want your module somewhere else....
It stupid that every asset in game require different storage instead of one single inventory for module, commodities, materials etc.

Not in a 1:1 game it isn't. Being able to transfer it is the solution.

We can't pretend space and time are a thing, except when we want everything now because reasons

I don't think the idea would work. We would have people complaining when they get destroyed and lose their ship and modules.

I wont complain... You need to know the risks and you can benefit from it.

I cant fit anywhere this words, what you want say? It was about instant transfer or what? Because I wasn't talking about instant transfer/ module access.

You might not complain but what about the other people who would want this and then had the hard truth of losing something they took days or weeks to earn?

Now we also have to look at cargo space. It gose by one ton canisters not module size. So this idea would not work.
