I wouldn't classify Discord as "hotness"! More like a hot mess.
I can't use Discord anyway, seeing I run Win 7 on this rig. I never did find a workaround. Yeah, Yeah, I know, upgrade Windows! When hell freezes over!
Call it my own form of protesting MS trying to control the PC market, which basically they have. Can you say "antitrust lawsuit"? Seriously, if you don't like Windows and how they do business, what are your options? Linux and none. That means lawsuit time!
Does Elite Dangerous Client still run on a Windows 7 then, wow.
I do agree, Microsoft does need to F###ing eat it at this point, seriously, my Computer has Spyware Baked in, and always Transmits S###, and Downloads S### on its own. Not that it's 'On-Topic' here, but serious note, why is my Computer, even with many Settings Disabled via RegEdit, why is my Computer still Downloading Hundreds of Gigabytes of Bloat every single Week?
Back to Elite Dangerous though, does it run on a SteamDeck smoothly without issues?
And, back onto Topic, they really need to just keep Items in the Game, so that people can buy them when they are ready.
What they Lose in FOMO Players, they will Gain in Sales from those Players who only Shop during a Sale.
I know that I want one Paint for EVERY Ship I got, or will have at some point.
If that Paint was something like the Chrome Paint, they'd be making a Mint in Sales from me.
It's actually the special nice looking Metallic Purple that I forgot the name of right now.
That Paint isn't cheep.
However, by taking a Paint off of the Shelf, for no reason, it means that fewer Sales of the Paint can be made overall.
If we don't have the ARX right now, we may not even be thinking of buying the Paints, as we don't have the ARX for them.
However, if around Christmas for example, we get the ARX then, and then find we can't spend them on what we actually wanted, then we are not going to buy ARX are we?
