This may have been posted before, but I thought this would make traversing and Identifying stored modules easier. It would be helpful to name modules or have a notes section where you can describe what that module is used for. Just how CMDRS can customize their Bookmarks and create organization of sections by names and characters, the same could be done for Modules. So instead of having multiple "Rail Gun," you can have "Rail Gun Short" for if its engineered (I know there is the mods page) or name if for a build i.e. "Short-range Rails Build," "1. SR Rails," ect. You could also have a note section stating which ship/ build it goes to. This would help with modules like the new Double engineered FSD that came from the CG. Instead of having to equip it to see if you got the right FSD (I kept my old one for if I need it later), it could have a nickname or some sort of notes telling you. This would save time and help organize stored Modules, plus reducing the possibility of selling a rare module by accident thinking it was something else. Just a Quality of Life thing I thought of while going through my stored Modules.

Even just sorting them by type and class would be a good start...
You already can.
Go into outfitting at a station and when selecting a module to buy, the order filter at the top can be changed. That filter will then permanently stay how you've set it and will also change the way stored modules are ordered.
I've set mine to "class rating" and "high to low". All my stored modules are then sorted by largest modules first, then by their lettered rating.
A 7C bi-weave is higher on my stored module list than a 6B fuel scoop or 4A PA, but lower than a 7A prismatic or 8E cargo rack.

I'm not sure you can do that with 'stored' modules. I may be wrong.
