Have anybody noticed that if ship is bought from station and old ship is stored. There is NO WAY to move it to another station. Only way I can think of is to buy sidewinder, upgrade fsd and fly back to that station, swap old ship and sell sidey.
Is there any other way?
No Taxi serves , no.
I think this would be great. Be able to move ships to a new location (for a price). I mean, why can't there be a UHaul type service in Elite or even post your own missions to the bulletin board to get something transported by NPC or by other players? I don't know if it would be possible to tow a ship through hyperspace, or if you'd need something like a Lakon to keep it stored internally, but either way, just a brilliant idea.
I actually hope the 'deliver ship x to station y' feature is one of the next features to be implemented. Currently my ships are 200+LY apart. So i have no way to quickly switch from my trader to my fighter if i feel just like fighting or vice versa. It's a one hour trip just to get a ship that i want to play. Probably 'realistic' within E: D's rules but completely counter-fun from a gameplay point of view.
I bet in 2-3 years we'll even see a teleport feature to our stored ships because people will start to hate this situation once they get more and expensive ships.
I'd be quite happy if they just added in a simple 1 seated shuttle that was cheap as chips with a good FSD and nothing else.
You have to fly back to the stored ships location and collect the ship yourself but doing so is risky. I'll say it: Like EVE's pod system.

Again, like EVE.
Edit: I'm not saying turn this into EVE. Just that EVE has systems in place that answer these questions.
