Horizons storing cargo in the SRV.

Hi

I am thinking this is a design decision however it seems inconsistent with the mining hoppers.

when mining, once my hold is full i can fill my mining hoppers us, and then when i empty my hold the stored stuff gets transferred in.

HOWEVER.........

when i am in my SRV when i get to my ship, i have to discard what is in my SRV boot before i can enter my ship.

I am just wondering what you folks think the design decision logic was behind allowing to use the hoppers as extra storage but not the boot of the SRV?

The SRV is foldable and has to half its volume before being stored. Otherwise it wouldn't fit in the hangar. Also, although we don't see them, I don't think the canisters are actually carried INSIDE the SRV. There's no way they would physically fit in there, even if there wasn't anything else, inside.

At least that's my reasoning.

Refinery, on the other hand is literally a glorified cargo rack.

maybe we should see them on the outside of our vehicles, actually would be quite cool having something come out of the ship and pick them up on returning to the ship, kiind of like the magnet we see at a scrap yard picking up cars.

probably not high on the priority list however.
