Engineers Storing or tranfering cargo?

I've been playing Elite for a good week or so now, with much help from the Elite community I was able to understand the game enough to get myself stared. Now that I've played the game and have realized that selling those mission wares is a bad idea and considering I need Micro-Weave Cooling Hoses (I must of sold at least over 20 by now) I would like to know if theirs any way I can transfer those or store them?

I've been making money using a ViperMK4 and so far have made enough to get a "good enough" Python (130m cr) with some rebuys. My Vipers cargo is not totally full yet as I can add more cargo, but as I want to go and visit an engineer I would like to keep what I have received from the mission and use it on the Python not the Viper.

Thinking about it now, maybe I can get someone from here or the Mobious group help? Pick up the cargo and jettison it back when I'm in my Python, is that possible?

Well thats a shame. Would really like some kind of storage to be honest, to keep everything you collect. I don't know what happens to wares that you leave in the cargo when you store a ship but even if we have to store our wares in ships and then dock the ships, as long as we can transfer our items between ships it would still be better then nothing.

I'm sure theirs a reason behind no storage, but after all the cargo I have to sell or jettison it really makes me wish there was. I'm sure people in Elite still own apartments or banks.

I just checked out the Pythons cargo and I guess your wares transfer over, so thats good. (Still new here haha)
