Storing PVH removes livery etc from the SRV - isn't this rather stupid?

I am getting a bit fed up with having to redo the livery, decals and weapon detailing every time I transfer a previously "liveried" SRV-containing Planetary Vehicle Hangar to my ships.

Maybe it is a bug - or a "feature" - whichever it is, I wish it would stop doing it.
