Buy a small ship where ship A is. Fly to ship B. Sell the small ship. Fly Ship B back to ship A. Enjoy.
This is how I transported my ships to a new system. It is a little work but pays off.

2 days ago I moved 14 Ships a mere ~7LY to a new Station.
It took me half a day just doing nothing but that...
If I had to move 100LY, this would have taken 1 or 2 days I guess.
By now the lack of some of these Common-Sense features is absolutely pathetic... Especially when you realize the most basic implementation would take almost no coding effort at all.
Just because the devs do not think that a stored ship's stats might be fixed nor that they should be readable does not mean it couldn't be easily changed. No, it definitely is very hard. Right now the shipyard system can only tell you where your stored ships are. It doesn't even have access to the ship stat![]()

WHY they think that we should NOT be able to check out what our own ship's stats were over long range is beyond me.
But ED is semi full of stuff that's so not thought through that it hurts when you think about it, don't get me started on trading...
