Storing stuff in station

I wonder if we'll be able to buy storage space in stations so we can store ship parts and cargo or exploration/bounty data there so we can have safe storage of stuff we don't want to lose?

I think its stupid that I might spend over 50k on a module and cant store it so I can equip it to my next ship. I know I can sell it to the station and buy it back again but its always at a loss.
