[Story] Durious - Thoughts?

Agreed... I'm in Buricasses... it's quite close, and has the same Faction War on the go.

Plus points over Durious...
1. It has a few high tech/industrial systems nearby.
2. The action is ~300ls from the star.
3. The fighting is above a gorgeous earth-like planet.
4. The stations are friendly to the Empire, so if you are a filthy slave-monger like me, fill your boots :)

Plus, you are close enough to Durious in case anything juicy happens over there!

Thanks. I'm over at Buricasses too. Might see you out there :)

Gave up Durius for Buricasses as well. I timed my trip from Durius A to Fourier and it was just under 15 minutes every time. I'm sorry but spending that amount of time in a game doing absolutely nothing is poor game design and has nothing to do with making things "easier" or "harder". There's nothing hard about staring at empty space for 15 minutes or alt-tabbing to surf the net while playing a game. Even without insane distances like Durius, traveling around ED is a time consuming process, but there's got to be reasonable limits. And please don't throw reality/immersion in my face as an argument in a game that throws around arbitrary rules like hyperspace and supercruising. It's all a complete fabrication and no amount of fake rules of reality are going to explain away why we need to waste 15 minutes of our lives doing nothing.

That said, where can a brother buy some slaves around Buricasses? :p
