Stragist police feedback... Surrender option please!

I believe this is the best generic idea sparked by my thread.

I would like to point out I am not complaining, I am simply pointing out it did not feel immersive but reductive.
What I looking at is mix old with the new. Because we are forced into the old west again. Even slavery and maybe a system in war. So Passengers might feel hate for them or compassion for them. So it force players decide do I drop them and have all your passengers to hate you or even love you. Or the other way around. I don't want the easy mode to just eject them and the game keep going.

I want a risk and reward. Not a easy mode.

I understand this. I did not start this thread to change the name from elite dangerous to elite harmless. I feel like you the thrill of having half my bottoms out of the cockpit. If you reread my first post you can see that I suggested to make that risk 10 times worse than destruction, the impossibility to benefit from insurance meaning they will confiscate your craft without the possibility to rebuy it. It makes sense: I think in every country police try to get money out of people who like to risk (i.e. speed cameras everywhere to catch excess of speed).

I support the idea of the Security first give orders to Halt and hand over the criminal, after that they charge you an very expensive fine. (So you can tend to not hand over the criminal and resist arest) Also it would count very bad for the misson Faction alignment.

If you decide to resist and do not hand over the criminal:
If you win and run away, you end being Wanted on that star system (or faction stars);
If you win by fighting and killing security agents your Wanted value goes high each kill;
If you fight but loose they won't kill kill you, but only disabe your ship and get you under arest on a far-far-away "prision-star" with a huge Fine to be paid and all the illegal goods/items confiscated. If you don't have the money to pay the fine, then they confiscate some items from your ship until you end up with 'E' grade items.

That way everyone ends up happy, the police, the player, the still alive innocent passengers .... ok ok not the criminal.
