Horizons Strange Comms Chatter

So...

I was hauling a few hundred tons of Imperial Slaves into Rondon's Progress, when all of a sudden, as I approach the docking area this shows up in my comms window:

System Authority Vessel says: "I'm heading out, Control. Hearing that rattle again, I'll see if I can lock it down." [???]

A few seconds later, a System Authority Vessel Eagle leaves the settlement, and heads out. Of course, with several million credits-worth of Imperial Slaves, I'm not gonna follow him. So I docked and sold them, but by the time I undocked I couldn't find his Wave anymore!

Has anyone encountered this before? I've been googling like a mad man, and I haven't found a single reference out there. [woah]

Please tell me I didn't just miss out on the games next big discovery, just to save me a few million!? [knocked out]

It's really quite a common message if you're near a planetary base.
I take it as a warning that there will be a system security ship around.

You'll also hear ships heading out to patrol, or returning.

I think the pilot meant his precious Eagle is rattling, and he's trying to find out which part might be malfunctioning.

Phew! ok, that makes me feel better.

I wonder why I had never noticed it before... :S

Guess it's just the ADHD at it again. Anyway, I remember that time when.... oooohhh shiny!
