Strange Crash on Synuefai HC-C B59-0 BC 3

I was heading out to the Helix Nebula to mix it up and see my first Nebula (I don't get out of the bubble unless a passenger asks nicely) and I found a strange crashed probe. It hums, and as I was approaching it some creepy music started playing... might have been a coincidence. The location is aproximatly -9.6729, -43.4972 on the planet in the title. I also took a few screenshots as proof of the incident. Has anyone seen anything like this and does anyone have any idea what I should do with it? I tried scanning it with the data link scanner on the SRV but it says inactive. Could this potentially be part of some future content?

I'm sorry for my newbie-ness and thank you for the help in advance. I have only been playing the game in earnest for ~3 months.

Just a crashed Nav beacon. Common.
Someone else had the same discovery recently in this thread https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...ed-Deep-Space-Probe-Discovered-Drojeae-Sector

Oh, cool thanks. I had found these 1 other time but it had data on it and appeared dead (just like the one in the thread you linked). This one was different (flashing red lights, inactive data point) and the music got me excited.

So are these crash sites the nav beacons like the ones next to the stars when you jump into an inhabited system?

Bummer that it's just space trash though. :(
