I wish I had thought to do a few screen captures..
I was harvesting MATs last night in my Corvette when I encountered a stealth NPC python in a HazRES, faction was Dark Wheel, and showed up wanted : Blacked out paint so it was hard to see it against the stars. I thought it was an RL CMDR for a minute, and had to double check the scanner. It was running so cool that I couldn't get a lock unless I was very close, and it was not popping heat sinks. It took a few passes with my huge beams to get it warm enough to stay target locked. It seemed to have better weapons/shields, but nothing that was outlandishly impressive. It was really weird. Never seen this look or behavior before..
Another odd thing was that it was just parked when I encountered it. Not mining, not pirating or scanning. No movement, just 'parked', almost dead. Once I started shooting it acted normally.
If it wasn't for the paint job AND the behavior AND the Dark Wheel faction, I would write it off as a minor glitch in the RNG. Taken all together, it was very odd. Then again, maybe I've been reading too many Raxxla threads..
