I've had a problem with playing Elite Dangerous since I installed the Creators update. It's quite irritating to say the least. Anyone got any ideas what I could do about it?
I play with a Logitech F310 controller, which emulates an XBox controller.
I can't put up with rebinding my controls every time I want to play.
Does anyone have any ideas? I want to play!

- The game is responding fine to the controller when in the menus - I can select my game mode, alter graphics and audio options, all from the controller.
- When I go into the game, it doesn't respond to any of my controls from the controller, but it does respond to keyboard and mouse (I can't play like that though).
- When I go into the controls menu to look at my bindings, they are all still there, but still the game won't respond to the controller.
- If I proceed to then remap all of my controls, I can get it working, BUT - you have to remap them all in one session without leaving the Controls options menu. If you map some of them, go back into the game, and then try and map the rest, it forgets all the ones you did the first time.
- Next time I log into the game, I'm back to step 2 and can't play the game with the controller (though the menu responds and the bindings appear to be intact)
