Strange HUD?

The other day, while browsing the interweb, I found this at Asus' site:

Notice the Elite logo to the right. I haven't seen this HUD layout in the game. Is it specific for fighters, legacy, WIP or just some wicked fantasy?

The image isn't huge, but I don't think that's an Elite logo.

Definitely doesn't look like an Elite logo to me.

No you're right. It resembles, but it's probably just one of those images made not to cause any property right infringements. There are other similarities though.

*nod* yeah, looks like a generic 'military winged icon' to me, but it might be from an actual game. Not one I recognise though, sorry.
