Strange Makring on Derelict DBE

last night I discovered a derelict DBE sat in space.
The cockpit was shot out and there were mobile glowing patches over the body.

The pilot's seat was missing (as was the pilot)

Within the glowing patches were strange markings - which were at an odd angle to be ship superstructure.

Yes in a USS - perhaps its common - I've just not seen it before

Interesting to find a wreck that intact!

I would interpret the red glowy things as the ship still burning. Fire would look and behave differently in a vacuum depending on what is fueling it.

That is what struck me as odd - more abandoned than destroyed


I'm just logging back in to see if its persistent.... that WOULD be intriguing.
