I was in the hanger of an Ocellus starport seeing what they had for outfitting, and then I heard an eerie noise that literally made me freak out to the point were I had to take off my headphones and my heart was racing. It sounded like the patter of an insect on a metallic surface, imagine large roaches crawling through an air duct with a mix of static and clicking. It slowly faded in then out, as if it was moving through the station. It sure wasn't a ship passing overhead that's for sure, no ship sounds like that. I wish I was making this up, but the fact that I was on the edge of populated space sends shivers down my spine. Has anyone encountered anything like this before? And no, I can't remember the station or system as it was a random assortment of letters and numbers.

Okay, so I didn't hallucinate that. Good to know.
It was most likely the debris of destroyed ships scratching around the hanger. Sometimes its on your sheilds somewhere on your ship as well.
I've hit debris plenty of times, it definitely wasn't that.
Glad to know I'm not the only one.

I've actually heard voices in space! Like radio transmissions.
The radiation from stars sounds like that at times.

Ive been playing with music off to enjoy the ambient noises. Heard all sorts of creepiness the last couple days. Im convinced FD's audio department has far too much free time on their hands.
