Ever since Lembava's CG I have had the Exploration bug and today something odd is happening, I don't think I am doing anything different tonight but all I visiting is T Dwarf stars (The purple ones) I am about 1,000 light years away from Aulin which is where I am heading back to. I have , as I always do, filtered the map to M, G and F type stars, I set my cursor to a star 300 or so light years from where I am and off I go. Tonight though my route has always gone to T Dwarf stars, nothing else. I keep having to cancel my route to find a scoopable star. I don't get it, is there something I have somehow changed in options to make this happen? Literally every jump goes to a purple star with just dead icy planets. The previous days I have been doing this trip I have found a mixture of stars in getting to my destination. Hope this all makes sense!

Be aware, if you were not previously aware, that the route finder ignores your filtering. As far as I am concerned, this makes it useless for exploring, so I always route find manually, one jump at a time.
As FalconFly says, you do find these large areas of non-scoopables. But back in the days when I did use the route finder (I used it en route to Sag A*), even when you did hit one of those 'purple patches', there were scoopable stars around - just fewer of them. I found that if I went into manual mode when down to 50-60% fuel, I had no problem finding a scoopable in what was generally the right direction.

Thanks for the replies, it's just odd that it's only started happening tonight, it's not just that route finder is only finding non scoopable, it's that it's only finding one type of star at all. Nothing else other than Purple T stars. Seems odd, especially as I have been exploring this way for ages now
