strange problem with targeting systems

I'll try and make this as simple as I can.. If I plot a route, when I target ANYTHING else it automatically switches back to the next system in the route.
I can't scan anything or target anything for more than 5sec. I thought ASTRA was glitching cause I was in the middle of a really long flight and was using "target next sys in route " command alot... now it wont stop lol..just tried without ASTRA same problem so it's not VP..

Check your keybindings, then check the appropriate key for coffee/tobacco/lost paperclips, etc. That usually works for me.

i'm using a brand new Saitek X52-HOTAS and a Corsair K70 keyboard..not to mention ASTRA voice pack..it's not coffee\tobacco,or lost paper clips..if you dont have useful input keep it to yourself

It seems that something has changed. What I have seen is: I am docked at an outpost and lock from the system map some other outpost in the same system. After leaving the current outpost my mini radar (the small one upper left of the main radar) shows the new outpost and I can steer to my target. But than the new outpost is not selected in the HUD but still the old outpost. I have to press the T key (select target ahead) to make it the selected target. Before the last update it was as you would expect it: selected target is that what you lock in the system map.

I think it is a minor bug but you may create a bug report anyways.

Go to your key bindings and clear the next system key completely. If the issue no longer happens you will know it's something to do with that command- may be a faulty key as mentioned above (new items can be faulty too, not just old ones) or something else triggering the command. If it still happens then it would appear to be a bug and worth reporting as such.

I'm very sorry to have offended you. I'm sure your sense of proper discourse is superior to mine.
