Strange ship purchase bug

Hey Guy's,

I have just experienced a strange bug for the second time since the latest patch, would like to know if anyone else is seeing this.

First incident Yesterday - HIP 20277, docked in my Ieagle, purchase a new ship and the screen goes blank, I find myself teleported 183LY back to my Python in Diaguandri.

Second incident today - HIP 20002, stopped off for repairs on my T9 whilst enroute to Maia, purchased a hauler to bookmark system and find myself 150LY away docked in my Cutter at Diagunadri.

This has never happened prior to the last update, am at 178 ships, well below the 250 recommended limit.

Edit - Just tried to purchase a new ship at Diaguandri and the game crashed.. I'll log a ticket

One hundred and seventy-eight ships. the purpose of this thread, but holy crud, man, what the hell? I usually have one, with a few spares and extras floating around, never more than 9 (mostly sidewinders).

Okay, so basically when you buy a ship, the game loads a new instance with you in the new ship, docked at that station. So when you're buying a ship, the game goes "Okay, where is he located? Okay, load there in an appropriate dock size that is not in use in this ship" For some reason, the game is not updating your saved position, it's like you're soulbound to Diaguandri.

So yes, ticket.

I'd say around 100 are bookmarks, at least 30 are shuttles to move between the fleet (haulers/Adders) Got roughly 4 smuggling cobra's with varying loadouts. 7 or 8 Imperial Eagle Canyon runners docked in orbit around the planet's I visit the most.

Then you have PvP/PvE builds, duplicate FDL's, Vipers, Anacondas,Python's.

And then multi purpose -

Explorer Anaconda, Cargo Variant, Combat variant.

Type-9, Bulk cargo, Miner, Open play long range hauler. Same deal with the Cutter.

It all adds up in the end, I'll ditch all the bookmark ships once 2.1 hits, all the other ships allow for greater flexibility without having to refit or move around a single ship.

Not sure if this only happens when buying ships.

I already teleported to another planet after switching to another ship at I Sola Prospect.

Yeah this happens at certain systems. There is a system with a bunch of outposts and stations all within 10-30 minutes flying distance in normal space. You can also teleport between the large station and the outposts

I have been teleported around before. It was during a CG with lots of other players in the system. I thought it was a network thing.

One hundred and seventy-eight ships.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the "Crazy Cat Lady" of Elite Dangerous.
I have around 20 or so sideys as bookmarks, (Bring on 2.1 so I can finally sell them all) and another 10 other ships with plans to buy another 5 or 6.
But 178? My mind is blown...

Could it be you have so many ships that the game cant handle them (for one account) propperly???

Nope, never experienced that. But yes a ticket seems a good thing

No.. I think I already made that clear. The issue only seems to be certain stations, and it started with the last patch. Official limit is 250 before things start going weird

Seriously tho, I can't get my head around how some can only own a few ships. Doesn't it become a hassle when you have to keep refitting your ships for PvP,PvE or different roles? What else have got to spend money on? Multiple variants of the same ship simplifies things if you enjoy varied gameplay.
